While everyone’s idea of a dream vacation might be different, there are definitely a few interesting places that you should keep in mind when planning your next vacation. Because honestly, can you stomach yet another family vacation in Cancun? Why not mix it up this year and go somewhere completely different. I’ve made a list of some of the most interesting vacation spots around the world. Human civilization has thrived on this tiny island for over 2000 years and it is considered the center of the Buddhist religion. - Kyoto, Japan. Located in the central part of the island of Honshu, Japan, Kyoto is considered to be the cultural capital of Japan. Ravaged by centuries of wars, fires and earthquakes, Kyoto offers a unique history. It’s famous for it’s Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines, as well as its breathtaking gardens, palaces and museums. There are so many cultural treasures to be found in this amazing place. You’ll never be bored.
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Famous for its picturesque landscapes, long sandy beaches and its unbelievable carnival celebrations, Rio is truly an unforgettable place. The city shocks the senses with its bright colors and its lively locals. It’s a place where you can rest and relax on a patio dining set at the beach, but also get down and party the night away in its huge metropolitan area. Rio is sure to offer you an unforgettable experience.
- Cairo, Egypt. One of the world’s most ancient cities, Cairo was established in 969 AD. Its colorful and long history attracts tourists worldwide. No one should live their life without seeing the ancient pyramids and the Sphinx firsthand. This city truly offers a fascinating combination of modern culture and antiquated surroundings.
