Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
While half of Mongolian residents are nomads, most of the rest live in the capital Ulaanbaatar. This city has become an impressive destination in 2011 thanks to its ten museums, national parks, imperial palaces and Buddhist monasteries. Besides, tourists have good opportunities to see Stone and Bronze Age artifacts, sacred relics, fossilized dinosaur bones and eggs found at the National and Natural History Museums.

Tasmania, Australia
Tasmania, Australia’s smallest state, features remote rain forests, secluded beaches and more than 200 vineyards. The 150-mile heart-shaped island with its mild and maritime becomes a year-round destination for walkers and hikers of all ages, interests and fitness levels.

Shimla, India
Visitors can enjoy interesting journeys on the way to Shimla, India because they have an opportunity to see snow-clad Himalayan views by using the narrow-gauge Kalka Shimla Railway, one of three Indian lines in the World Heritage list. It will pass tourists through 102 tunnels, across 864 bridges and up 4,659 feet (1,420 meters) to the Shimla Hill station in northern Himachal Pradesh.

There are many guided walking tours around Shimla and seven surrounding hills, which helps visitors see historic temples, churches, palaces and mansions like the Viceregal Lodge and a baronial-style estate
Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec
The 11,714-square-mile (30,340-square-kilometer) Gaspé Peninsula, divided into five natural areas namely the Coast, Land's End, the Bay of Chaleur, the Valley and the Upper Gaspé, contains six wildlife sanctuaries as well as four national parks. While visitors coming here in summer (from June to September) can join many activities like kayaking, canyoning, hiking, sailing and horseback riding. The winter on the Gaspé offers cold weather adventures from downhill skiing, snowmobiling, ice climbing to dog sledding.

Kodiak Island, Alaska
The city of Kodiak, the first capital of Russian America, becomes an ideal destination for seaplane and boat trips throughout the nearly 5,000-square-mile of Kodiak Island Archipelago. The area is best known for the estimated 3,500 massive Kodiak brown bears living in the 1.9-million-acre (769,000-hectare) Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge.
