However, today they become famous relics recorded historical periods and attractive tourist destinations of the world. Therefore, it’s interesting to admire their architectural beauties over years via photos. The historic and art values, of course, remain unchanged by time.
Grand Palace – Bangkok, Thailand
Built in the 18th century under emperor Rama, Bangkok's Grand Palace is considered as a typical example of ancient architectural combination between Thailand and Western style.

Despite not being used as a royal residence for many years, the palace is the place where important events take place, including the coronation of the king.

Garden of Versailles is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

Tower of London

The Tower is one of the most glorious palaces in England. Once time it was used as a prison.
It took three centuries to build the tower, from the reign of King William, the Conqueror to the 14th century.

Medieval Palace was established in 1220 by Henry III.
Topkapi Palace, Turkey

Topkapi Palace was built from the 6th century AD to the 11th century and became the royal residence then.

In 1924, after the Turkish Republic’s establishment, the palace was used as a museum. Topkapi is surrounded by trees, in opposition to Bosporous strait connecting the Black Sea and Marmara Sea.
Buckingham Palace
As an official residence of the British monarch, Buckingham Palace is in must-see list of visitors in London. The palace was built in 1701 and surrounded by three parks, including Hyde Park.

In spring, the palace is full of daffodils, typical flower in the British countryside.

Outside guards in British palace are not allowed to smile, or move their head.

The palace was built in 1745 with many nearly-5-hectare gardens surrounding. The large lobbies were dressed in unique styles.

Iolani Palace, Honolulu, Hawaii

Before being a state of the United States, Hawaii is ruled in a feudal system for centuries. Built in 1879, the palace serves as a royal residence. Royal tomb and bedroom are most visited.
